After gaining a strong foundation in her nursing career, she decided to take the next steps in becoming a Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in Primary Care for the adult and geriatric populations. As a Nurse practitioner, Xiomara has embraced her passion for serving the geriatric community and continues to provide services for seniors with the goal of promoting health and wellness in the comfort of their own homes. She is a strong advocate for the senior population and delivers care with compassion and kindness. In cases where patients request comfort measures/palliative care, she discusses end of life treatment to optimize quality of life and honor their wishes in their last stages of life. Xiomara speaks Spanish fluently and prides herself in being multicultural. When not seeing patients, Xiomara enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children watching movies, cooking, and baking together.
