Loyal, dedicated, hospitable, jovial and warmhearted, Ms. Nordia Baxter is a board-certified Women’s Health/Gender Related Nurse Practitioner with experience in preventative, uncomplicated and complex OB/GYN and primary women’s health care. She is passionate about providing quality OB/GYN care and reproductive health education. She is skilled in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and psychosocial support of adolescents and women across the lifespan. She practices at EG Healthcare and Planned Parenthood in Hamilton, NJ. Her patients, including male, female and transgender see her for a variety of medical reasons. These entail annual GYN/well woman exams, pap smears/HPV screening, abnormal pap smear management, sexually transmitted infection screenings/treatment, breast cancer screening/mammograms, problem focused care i.e. vaginal, breast problems, urinary tract infections, menstrual irregularities/vaginal bleeding, PCOS, pelvic pain, menopause management, all forms of contraception/birth control, performance/interpretation of basic transvaginal ultrasound and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)/post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) initiation and monitoring.
Ms. Baxter attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA where she earned her Master’s Degree in Women’s Health and Perinatal nursing. She is also an active member of several organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH). Ms. Baxter is extremely passionate about her work and is devoted to her patients. She feels great contentment from serving her patients, and knowing that they feel comfortable during their visit with her and while under her care.
